Introduction

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who brought the Transcendental Meditation technique to the world 50 years ago, has revived and systematized Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. The word “Vedic” means pertaining to Veda, the field of pure knowledge or total knowledge. During the past four decades Maharishi has systematically restored many aspects of the ancient Vedic knowledge of India, along with their practical technologies, to develop full human potential on the level of the individual and society.

More than 600 scientific studies on these Vedic technologies, collectively referred to as Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health, have documented their safety and efficacy in improving mental, physical and social well-being. Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology is a leading component of Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health concerned specifically to address longstanding or chronic health problems.

Enlivening the Body’s Inner Intelligence

For thousands of years, Veda and the Vedic Literature have been held to be the expression of the Total Knowledge of Natural Law, the expression of the inner intelligence of Nature which maintains and evolves human life and the life of the universe. According to tradition, the Vedic sounds contained in Veda and the Vedic Literature are the fundamental vibrations which structure the material universe, including the human body. Maharishi Vedic Vibration Experts are trained under Maharishi’s guidance in the proper administration of these sounds to enliven the body’s inner intelligence. Through a tender impulse of Vedic vibration, pain can be transformed into a feeling of pleasantness and abnormality can be transformed into normal physiological functioning.

This ancient understanding has been scientifically validated by neuroscientist Professor Tony Nader, M.D., Ph.D., who discovered an exact correlation between the structure of Vedic vibrations and the structure and function of the human physiology. This discovery provides the rationale for correcting disorders from the most fundamental level of physiological functioning, the body’s own inner intelligence.

Scientific Explanation of Sudden Transformations

It is remarkable how quickly and effortlessly Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology can transform a state of physiological disorder into a state of orderly physiological functioning. The scientific explanation of such a sudden transformation can be derived from recent findings of the Theories of Self-Organization and of Chaos Theory. These theories of modern physics and mathematics, developed in the last few decades, have led to important scientific insights regarding the functioning of dynamic self-organizing systems — including the functioning of our physiology. One of the most important findings of these theories is the principle that a tender impulse can transform chaos, or disorder, into order. Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology utilizes this principle — through a tender impulse of Vedic vibration pain is transformed into a feeling of pleasantness; abnormality is transformed into normal physiological functioning; the inner intelligence of the body is enlivened in order to revitalize its physiological expression.

How to Make an Appointment

The first step in making an appointment is to complete an application for a Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology consultation. Your completed application will be reviewed as the basis for designing a personalized consultation programme. One or more consultations may be recommended for your disorder, each consisting of as many as three separate sessions with an expert in Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. Those with especially severe problems may be advised to enroll in a Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health in-residence programme.
