Yoga is age-old, with the UN announcing 21st June as the International Yoga Day, it has gained a lot of popularity and many people are adapting it as a part of their daily routine.
Yoga exists in many forms today. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji presented a holistic complete and practical approach to yoga and meditation, as described in the ancient vedic scriptures of India, almost six decades ago. At the same time, he clarified a lot of myths associated with the practice of yoga, preventing it to help people to the maxium extent possible. Maharishi says that all forms of yoga, in their pure essence are supposed to be natural and for full overall development and to not only reach, but to live a state of yog which is union.
Apart from practicing yoga on the physical level, it is also important to practice yoga for unification, which we can achieve through the easy and effortless practice of Transcendental Meditation.
